Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in-person at 800 Jerusalem Ave, Uniondale, NY 11553
Led by Dr. Sonia L. Russell, Associate Pastor, Sunday School at NBCM is for children and adults. It is an introduction to and study of the Word of God. We use the Bible and Echoes Curriculum for both children and adults. This curriculum is one of the most widely-used resources among the African-American church. It is rich in African-American imagery and history, alive with family situations and storylines, and leveraging a shared quarterly theme with real-life application of biblical truths.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Children’s Sunday School consists of 6-18 year-olds. The curriculum engages kids and young people in God’s story. It is interactive and allows children the freedom to ask questions about the lesson, so they leave with a greater understanding. We utilize traditional narratives such as David in the Lion’s Den and Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors to teach them about the principles of faith and obedience.
And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.
