New Birth, we believe children are the future, and we want our church to be a place of spiritual and academic growth for young people to unlock their best potential.
As we develop a youth group of children ages 12-18, our goal will be to help teens within the group expand God’s plan for them by offering a) weekly lessons and b) a straightforward exam where the highest grade wins a prize.
Our church offers and prioritizes wholesome seasonal activities for the youth group. Annual events included a trip to UniverSoul Circus, an Easter egg hunt, pumpkin picking on Long Island, an unforgettable fun trip to Splish Splash water park, summer BBQ/picnic, and at-home movie nights. Our youth group is also welcome to join adults on meaningful church family milestones such as the annual American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach, where we donate, solicit donations, and walk as a “New Birth Warriors” team to support our loved ones, friends, and colleagues.
Our children are the future. Our youth group allows them to achieve an excellent education beyond the classroom with biblical teachings, the choir, social activities, and more. We look forward to being open-minded and learning from them as well.
